The beds are very comfortable, along with the pillows. I did notice though that the temperature we set the room to wasn't always what the temperature would end up being (One time we set the room to 72 and it only got up to 67, so we had to …
My family and I went on a New England road trip from Shreveport, La and Northern Outdoors was our first stop. Traveling took an entire day and it was truly worth it. We stayed 2 nights and went rafting during peak foliage. We had so much …
I wanted to drive up the scenic byway (Old Canada) and I share a last name with the Brewery here. I stayed the night in one of their lodge rooms, which was perfectly satisfactory. The bed was comfortable, I slept like a rock, there was lots of hot water for my shower, and while there were several large groups staying in the cabins nearby, the noise wasn't bad at all!
The staff was really nice, and I ate at the restaurant in the lodge: delicious. Beer: great.
The Northern Outdoor Center really exceeded my expectations. While I thought that things might be a little slow during this time of year (which it was), it allowed for a more personal experience. They had kept an adequate amount of staff …
We had a GREAT time. The resort was really nice. We stayed in the logdominium and it was nice and clean and quite spacious. Much bigger than the cabins. |The restaurant was really good. The staff there were fast and efficient and especially …
Took the family on an outdoor vacation hoping to enjoy cooler Fall weather (we are from Raleigh) and catch the leaves turning. Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate (Leaves haven’t turned yet) we had a great time at Northern Outdoors. We loved our cabin, had a great time rafting with Molly who was knowledgeable and fun. Lunch on the trip was shockingly good, even the picky eater kids loved it. The river was a very good run with plenty of bumps and dumps. Beers and photo after the trip were a lot of fun too! Highly recommend Northern Outdoors
Nice rooms, great beer and great food. Very friendly staff, clean place. Quiet and peaceful. Close to hiking trails and easy to find. Wish it would have snowed more because the snowmobile rentals looked really good. I'd recommend going if you're looking for a place to stay.
Spent a long weekend in the campground - had very large spacious tenting campsites right on the river which was wonderful! Float trip on Saturday was super fun - our guide, Leah, was so helpful and kind. She gave clear instructions on where to get out and made sure we had everything that we needed. Moxie Falls was totally rushing which was awesome to see! Kids really enjoyed the pool and arcade and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Had a good meal at the brewpub and great drinks, of course! Only suggestion is to pay closer attention to the shower house facilities in the campground. A few stalls were out of tp for more than a day, and it looked like they could have used a cleaning. Otherwise a great stay; we'll definitely be back!
